AMMCASS CE Group’s Commitment

At AMMCASS CE Group, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and socially responsible business. We integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into our operations to align with our clients' values and deliver meaningful outcomes.

Diversity & Inclusion

As a multi-ethnic, black-owned SME, diversity underpins all operations. Our senior management team demonstrates our inclusivity, with leaders from various backgrounds driving our business forward. In accordance with our Investors in People accreditation, we uphold ethical labour practices and encourage diversity and inclusion across all levels including our supply chain. We believe that representation matters, and our commitment to a diverse workforce ensures that we continue to innovate, excel, and set new industry standards. Regardless of background, we encourage a culture where talent, expertise, and hard work define success.

Women in Construction

With a 50/50 gender split in our senior management, we actively promote women in construction, recognising their contributions at all levels. Leaders such as Director of Design and Build Valentina Prodger and Technical Design Analyst Noela Dalipi make significant contributions in addition to female engineers, project managers, and accountants across the company. We believe that gender diversity brings a wealth of perspectives, encourages innovation, and strengthens our industry.

Apprenticeship & Work Experience Programme

Our apprenticeship programme is designed to support young professionals and aspiring tradespeople, providing them with hands-on experience and expert guidance. We partner with training providers and local colleges to offer a variety of placements, including work experience opportunities, across the construction and engineering industry.

Charity & Community Work

Giving back to the community is a fundamental part of our mission. Our Director Hugh Gray, is the founder of Great Men In The Making, a mentoring programme dedicated to monthly mentoring workshops for young men aged 10-17. With a structured programme spanning 10 months, each workshop is meticulously planned to provide participants with invaluable opportunities for character development, leadership skills enhancement, networking, and self-improvement.

All employees at Ammcass CE Group receive three paid Corporate Social Responsibility days to volunteer in the local community.

Social Value

We actively engage with our local community including sponsoring an under 16’s football team. Our Director has worked in his local community for over 25 years mentoring many young engineers and coaching young football players. We actively research community initiatives; we recently purchased new computer screens for our office workers and are in the process of donating screens, keyboards, and monitors to help disadvantaged individuals within schools and youth centres in our community.

Environmental

As an ISO 14001 accredited organisation, we are dedicated to supporting our clients achieve net zero goals. Our sustainability practices include carbon reduction, waste minimisation, resource efficiency, and biodiversity protection. Through energy-efficient designs, low-carbon construction methods, and sourcing sustainable materials, we implement low-carbon construction methods. We collaborate with ecologists to restore habitats and plant native species during any landscaping works and contribute to the surrounding areas green space when completing projects, by participating/hosting “green days”. Our recent work with Hackney Council evidences this; we planted additional trees in and around the estates we were working on.
