AFC (Achieving for Children Centre)

Ammcass CE Group undertook the internal office reconfigurations at Achieving For Children (AFC), Richmond Civic Centre.

Duration: 4 months

Project Type: Commercial Construction

About this project

We successfully delivered a full internal office reconfiguration for Achieving For Children (AFC) at Richmond Civic Centre. Achieving For Children is a children’s services organisation established in 2014 to support children, young people, and families in leading happy, healthy, and successful lives. The project covered approximately 1,200 square metres of office accommodation within the civic centre.

The works involved a comprehensive strip-out and clearance of the existing office space, including the removal of flooring, redundant materials, and legacy cabling. We then carried out a complete internal reconfiguration to create a modern, functional, and collaborative working environment. This included the installation of acoustic glazed partitions, full internal redecoration, new electrical distribution boards, complete rewiring, and the installation of energy-efficient PIR sensor-controlled lighting throughout. To support privacy and flexible working, we also designed and installed bespoke acoustic phone booths for confidential meetings and focused work.

Throughout the project, we worked closely with the client to ensure their design vision was fully realised, including the successful implementation of a cohesive colour scheme that aligned with AFC’s identity. The project was delivered within a four-month programme, meeting all milestones and strict deadlines, and was completed to a high standard with minimal disruption to the client’s operations.
