About this Project
We were appointed by Medway Council to undertake works at Halling Primary School to carry out the complete design and build of a new reception extension. We undertook the full internal refurb of the admin block and the installation of two modular units, including associated internal alternations and adaptions. Our work included the provision of new external prefabricated timber frame for two classrooms and nursery building, refurbishment and alterations to the existing school layout, and alterations to the existing car park. The works were primarily carried out during the six-week summer holidays, with a strict programme that required adhering to.
The works include all services and connections to local authority services, and are to be completed in Phases
Works were carried out whilst the school was still in use so extra care had to be taken. All works were carried out to an extremely high standard leaving the client very happy.
The refurbishment and alterations to the schools existing admin block was carried out over the 6 week school holidays which consisted of 3 weeks of demolition. It was a very tight timescale however we managed to pull the project in on time.
